God used Joseph to tell the cupbearer, the baker, and Pharaoh what their dreams meant. No one else in Egypt was able to explain the meaning behind these very specific dreams, but Joseph could. Joseph made sure that Pharaoh knew it was God who gave him the ability to interpret dreams. All the magicians and wise men in Egypt weren’t able to do this. But Joseph clearly lets everyone know that he can’t do this rare thing on his own, and that it’s God who is allowing him to do this amazing thing.
