Joseph became second in command over all Egypt, and the years of plenty went by followed by the years of famine. Joseph’s brothers came to Egypt for grain and didn’t recognize him. Joseph didn’t reveal himself to them; instead, he decides to test them to see if they had changed from their murderous ways all those years ago.
